Contact form
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, reason for contacting us and message. We use this information to send your enquiry to the Society inbox, reply to you and manage the relevant Society activity.
Email delivery
Contact-form details are processed by Resend, our email delivery provider, and sent to the Society's Aston University inbox. Please do not include patient-identifiable or confidential clinical information.
Research applications
Aston Haematology Society is responsible for administering research expressions of interest. The form collects your name, Aston University email address, year of study, motivation, optional research experience, activities of interest, weekly availability and the required declarations.
The Society's research leads use this information to assess interest, check eligibility manually and contact applicants about the selected project. Submission does not verify identity and does not guarantee selection or authorship.
Resend processes each submission and emails it to the Society's designated research administration inbox. Applications are reviewed manually; applicant names and responses are not published, and the website does not maintain an application database. Website hosting and email providers also process technical information needed to operate their services.
Retention
Research applications are retained in the research administration inbox for 8 weeks from submission. The research leads are responsible for deleting application emails and any review copies at the end of that period. The website does not automatically delete messages from the inbox.
Your information
To ask about your information, request access or correction, withdraw your expression of interest, or request deletion, contact the Society using the privacy contact below. The Society will consider requests in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
Please do not include patient-identifiable or confidential clinical information in your application.
Other data
The site does not use advertising trackers, behavioural profiling or a public member database.
